Alright, y’all. Let’s talk armpits. More specifically, let’s talk about what we’re putting on our ‘pits.

Real quick- run into your bathroom, purse, gym bag, wherever you keep your antiperspirant. Turn it over. Now read the ingredients. Do you see the word “aluminum”? If you do- throw that shit away right now! Like, RN!

There’s a difference between deodorant and antiperspirant. Deodorants work by helping to fight bacteria in the underarm + give ya a fresh lil scent! Antiperspirants use ingredients, such as aluminum, to clog and shrink the pores in our underarms. Basically it’s stopping our bodies from performing their natural functions (regulating temp, releasing toxins, etc.)

Kinda gross, right?!

This is exactly why I made the conscious decision to throw out my antiperspirant and grab Kopari Beauty’s new Coconut Deodorant.

So okay here’s the skinny- this all-natural deodorant is jam packed with ingredients that will kick odor + love on your skin. Coconut oil to hydrate, 100% plant based enzymes to dissolve odor-causing bacteria, and sage oil to help reduce the activity of sweat glands. Oh! And it’s totally aluminum free!

Sort of like a win, win, winning!

But hold on! There is a detox period! Your precious ‘pits have been clogged for years and are finally ready to release all those built up toxins. So babes, get ready to sweat! The detox period can be a bit daunting (four weeks kind of daunting) but trust me when I say it is soo worth it! You’re going to sweat (sometimes profusely), you’re going to smell like a 7th grade boys locker room at times, but the pay off is naturally regulated and healthy underarms that smell like you just got back from vaycay!

Check out Kopari’s blog “The Salty”, for a full breakdown of ingredients, what they do, and killer tips for getting through the detox process! (The Salty)

talk soon babes

xoxo,
